Business Systems Analyst

The primary objective is the modernization of corporate and flight processes, broadening the digital reach for passengers, and refining traveler satisfaction through the creation, engineering, and merging of systems while deepening industry-specific IT expertise. The distinguished SriLankan IT department is looking for an energetic professional to fill the role of Business Systems Analyst.
The successful candidate is tasked with delivering data-driven solutions to boost operational flow and output via the functionalities and workflows of Finance and Commercial platforms. You will evaluate scenarios, arrange project priorities, provide remedies, and rectify technical hurdles by utilizing both internal and external unit assets while adhering to established service level agreements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Pinpoint and record corporate goals, operational needs, data structures, system architecture, and inter-system dependencies. Support department heads in creating strategies for purchasing software packages or advocating for proprietary application building.
- Engage in the formulation and rollout of project schedules and validation plans, assisting the project lead in achieving established milestones.
- Assess difficulties flagged by corporate users, investigate the root causes, propose potential remedies, and help leadership choose the most effective path forward. Partner with the group to implement the decided remedy and interface with Oracle Inc to fix support tickets.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with the Corporate Information Security & Privacy Management Manual (CIS&PM) by executing and supporting safety protocols to protect digital information assets.
- Evaluate workflows within relevant corporate sectors, record them, and strive to refine operational flow to realize financial savings, increased earnings, or other corporate advantages.
- Audit the Oracle EBS setup and other Finance and Commercial platform deployments regularly, suggest upgrades, and collaborate with the group to execute authorized improvements.
- Establish project milestones and objectives for personnel, provide direct oversight and tracking of their tasks, monitor output, and provide consistent updates on necessary assets.
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in a pertinent discipline from an accredited institution with at least 01 year of post-degree qualifying Professional Experience (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, General Science with a focus on Mathematics, Applied Statistics, etc.).
OR
- Comprehensive professional credentialing equivalent to NVQ Level 07 with 03 years of post-credential experience in a pertinent field.
- Must hold Sri Lankan citizenship.
- Maximum age limit of 35 years as of the deadline on 20th February 2026.
- Position is provided on a fixed-term contract basis.
