Position Summary

As a Housekeeping Associate, you are a key contributor to the guest experience, ensuring that every room is a clean, welcoming sanctuary. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in guest rooms and hallways, while responding promptly and professionally to guest requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Room Preparation: Access guest rooms according to established procedures; replace amenities, supplies, dirty linens, and terry with fresh items.

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Thoroughly clean bathrooms, make beds, and remove trash or room service items. Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furniture.

• Floor & Appliance Care: Vacuum carpets and perform floor maintenance in rooms and hallways. Ensure all room appliances are present and in perfect working order.

• Guest Service: Anticipate and address guest needs with genuine appreciation. Assist individuals with disabilities and maintain a professional, welcoming demeanor at all times.

• Operational Support: Stock and transport housekeeping carts to assigned areas. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or injuries to supervisors immediately.

• Compliance: Follow all company safety and security policies, including the proper storage of flammable materials and completion of required safety training.

• Professionalism: Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold the confidentiality of proprietary information.

• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to reach common goals and ensure all quality expectations are met.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, kneel, or walk for an entire shift; reach, bend, and twist; push/pull a loaded housekeeping cart; and lift objects up to 25 pounds independently (and heavier items with assistance).

Qualifications

• Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. required.

• Experience: Entry-level position; no prior related work or supervisory experience is necessary.

• License/Certification: None required.
