Position Summary

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you are responsible for ensuring that our dining areas and service stations are perfectly prepared to welcome our guests. Your role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness, managing stock, and executing both opening and closing duties with precision. You will work as part of an ambitious team to provide a guest experience that goes “above and beyond” the standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Readiness: Set up, stock, and maintain work areas throughout the day. Inspect all china, glassware, and silver for cleanliness and presentation before use.

• Operational Excellence: Complete closing duties, including storing reusable goods, restocking items, and securing equipment and storage areas (locking refrigerators/doors).

• Sanitation: Maintain a clean work environment by practicing “clean-as-you-go” procedures and completing daily cleaning checklists.

• Guest Relations: Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards using professional and clear language.

• Safety & Compliance: Follow all company safety and security policies. Report any maintenance needs or unsafe conditions to management and complete all required safety certifications.

• Teamwork: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues to reach common departmental goals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for an extended period or an entire shift.

• Move, lift, carry, and push objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

• Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps.

• Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination (grasping and manipulating objects).

• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and stooping.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.

• Experience: No prior related work or supervisory experience is required; we value a passion for learning.

• License/Certification: None required.
