Job Responsibilities
- Manage correspondence, synchronization, and monitoring of all inbound international freight to guarantee punctual arrival according to set schedules.
- Arrange and manage the essential paperwork to facilitate seamless customs processing of consignments.
- Conduct audits of documents both before and after transit and pursue required state-level authorizations.
- Organize and execute financial settlements for regional service providers involving shipping, port clearance, and product marking/labeling.
- Act as a point of contact with state and oversight bodies, such as Sri Lanka Customs, the Sri Lanka Standards Institution, and the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, to secure permits and finalize paperwork, including on-site attendance as required.
