Seeking React Lead with 10+ year of experience with strong hands-on expertise in TypeScript, React, GraphQL, AWS, large-scale single-page applications, component-driven architecture.

Requirements

The Technical Core: Deep, authoritative expertise in TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.

Scale Experience: A proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining large-scale, enterprise single-page applications (SPAs) from the ground up.

Modern Frontend Patterns: Expert-level command of component-driven architecture, advanced state management, and modern performance optimization techniques.

Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong familiarity with AWS ecosystems and modern cloud deployment patterns for frontend applications.

CMS & Content Delivery: Practical experience integrating headless CMS platforms (ideally Kontent.ai or similar) via GraphQL.

Identity & Security: Strong hands-on experience integrating enterprise Identity Providers, with a strong preference for Okta (Azure AD, Ping Identity, or Auth0 also highly valued).

Leadership Persona: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction, collaborate with executive engineering leadership, and foster a culture of maintainable, accessible web development.

Job responsibilities
• Serve as a senior individual contributor within the Director of Engineering’s team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable
React-based web applications for a greenfield, customer-facing platform.
• Partner with React Web Leads, Principal Engineers, and the Director of Engineering to deliver frontend solutions aligned with platform architecture, design system standards, product priorities, and engineering best practices.
• Provide strong hands-on expertise in TypeScript, React, GraphQL, AWS, large-scale single-page applications, component-driven architecture, advanced state management, and modern frontend development patterns.
• Build and optimize React applications using efficient rendering strategies, code-splitting, lazy loading, caching, and data-fetching patterns to deliver responsive enterprise-scale user experiences.
• Develop reusable components and contribute to design system implementations while integrating GraphQL-based content delivery and headless CMS platforms such as Kontent.ai.
• Implement secure, accessible, and high-performing frontend experiences, including authentication and authorization integrations with enterprise Identity Providers such as Okta preferred, Azure AD, Ping Identity, or Auth0.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, frontend standards, performance optimization, and developer experience improvements.
Mentor junior and mid-level frontend engineers while promoting maintainable, scalable, and accessible web development practices.
