We are seeking a versatile Naturalist to join an upmarket 60-room eco-resort in Sigiriya. The ideal candidate will blend outdoor expertise with guest engagement, serving as a key guide across the resort’s lush 10-acre property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead guided nature walks, birdwatching trails, farm visits, and cultural tours for guests.
- Share comprehensive knowledge on local flora, fauna, regional ecology, and village traditions.
- Engage guests in hands-on activities including farming, foraging, and organic gardening.
- Deliver personalized hospitality while ensuring safety across all outdoor excursions.
Requirements:
- Recognized certification in natural studies or hospitality.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a resort setting or environmental organization.
- Outstanding communication skills with a strong customer-service focus.
