The Role
Embark on a journey of change with MAS by joining our Activewear team as an Executive – Industrial Engineering! In this role, you will drive continuous improvements across production-related operations and engage in Standard Minute Value (SMV) analysis to maintain planned production efficiencies while consistently increasing productivity.
Key Responsibilities

Efficiency & Productivity: Conduct time, capacity, and production studies to identify bottlenecks and support low-performing operators to enhance overall line efficiency.

Skill Development: Prepare and follow up on operator skill development plans. Participate in the Star grading system and verify team member skills for official star grading.

Standards & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to organizational standards, including SOPs, compliance, health and safety, and 5S principles in daily activities.

Line Planning & Style Transitions: Review line loading plans to identify new and repeat styles, prepare for new styles in a timely manner, and facilitate seamless transitions into bulk production.

Training Coordination: Organize weekly on-the-job training programs. Identify operators facing technical difficulties and coordinate with training school instructors to upgrade their skills.

Resource Allocation: Allocate new resources from the training school and skill bank for layout changes and skill gap fulfillment, while continuously tracking and evaluating their performance efficiency.
Knowledge and Skills

Education: Degree in Textile Engineering, NDT, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.

Experience: 2–3 years of manufacturing experience within the apparel sector.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and costing tools, specifically General Sewing Data (GSD). A valid GSD License is an added advantage.

Core Skills: Solid understanding of Lean concepts, paired with effective people management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Communication: Strong analytical capabilities coupled with excellent communication skills.
