We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals for the post of Intern – Cloud Solutions and Services. The selected candidate will report to the Consultant – Cloud Solutions and Services.

will be responsible for:

• Assisting in maintaining and enhancing cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools and dashboards.

• Supporting cloud security assessments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.

• Conducting configuration reviews to ensure alignment with cloud security best practices and standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, and ISO 27001.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate cloud security gaps.

• Assisting in the preparation of cloud security documentation including security architecture, policies, and procedures.

• Supporting incident response activities and investigations related to cloud workloads or platforms.

• Monitoring, triaging, and escalating cloud-based security alerts and vulnerabilities.

• Staying updated on evolving cloud security threats, technologies, and compliance requirements while contributing to internal knowledge sharing initiatives.

• Maintaining accurate documentation for assigned tasks and engagements.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Basic understanding of cloud security principles including identity and access management and encryption.

• Exposure to tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Defender will be an added advantage.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or GDPR.

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) will be an added advantage.

• Basic scripting or programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell will be an added advantage.
