About the Client: Sitecore Sitecore is a global leader in digital experience platforms, uniting content, commerce, and data. Their technology powers millions of digital interactions daily for iconic brands like Porsche, Starbucks, L’Oréal, and Volvo Cars.

The Role

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support Sitecore’s multi-tenant SaaS products. You will join the Cloud Platform Team, a DevOps-focused group responsible for the infrastructure and shared services that support hundreds of engineers and millions of users.

The team manages everything from cloud environments and containerized platforms to microservices architecture and observability tools, ensuring the foundation of Sitecore remains scalable, performant, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy & Maintain: Manage complex hybrid container platforms on Microsoft Azure across development, testing, and production environments.

• Operational Excellence: Handle day-to-day platform management, including incident resolution, performance monitoring, and capacity management.

• Collaboration: Act as a technical point of contact for cloud infrastructure and container technology requests.

• Reliability: Participate in the 24/7 infrastructure incident rotation to ensure system uptime.

• Communication: Provide consistent feedback and follow-ups to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed

• Experience: 2+ years as a Cloud Engineer in a SaaS environment with expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Networking: Strong understanding of cloud-native networking (VPCs, Azure VNet, Direct Connect) and traditional routing/firewalls.

• Containerization: Significant experience as a Kubernetes administrator.

• Automation: Deep expertise in configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

• CI/CD: Proven track record of integrating infrastructure into GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Service Management: Experience administering services like Redis or Elastic.

Preferred Skills

• Technology Agnostic: Ability to adapt to various tools and platforms.

• Scripting: Proficiency in automating manual tasks via code.

• Packaging: Knowledge of tools like Helm, Kustomize, or Flux.

• Modern Databases: Familiarity with NoSQL solutions such as CosmosDB or Elasticsearch.
