Job Responsibilities

  • Operational Liaison: Act as a key point of contact, liaising directly with the HR Manager and Plant Manager on all personnel and administrative matters.

  • Culture & Engagement: Foster a positive, transparent work environment that encourages open communication and employee feedback.

  • Data & Reporting: Generate and analyze HR metrics to produce comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.

  • Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of, and ensure strict adherence to, all relevant local labor laws and regulations.

  • Performance Management: Facilitate the appraisal process and collaborate with employees on professional progression and development plans.

  • Talent Acquisition: Execute recruitment drives and camps to fill vacancies promptly, ensuring uninterrupted plant operations.

  • Payroll & HRIS: Ensure the timely processing of salaries and wages for both staff and manual workers. Maintain proficiency in using HRIS systems for accurate payroll preparation.


Candidate Profile

  • Education: Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or a degree from a recognized university.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar HR capacity.

  • Academic Foundation: At least 2 credit passes in English and Mathematics (GCE O/L) and 2 passes at the GCE A/L examination.

  • Technical Skills: Strong command of the MS Office package and effective communication skills.

  • Leadership: A proven leader with interpersonal strengths, capable of motivating and educating department managers and staff.

  • Location: Candidates residing in or near Dankotuwa are strongly preferred.
