At MAS, we empower transformation. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join MAS Intimates as an Assistant – Commercial. In this role, you will support the operational activities of our Procurement and Logistics sections, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables to drive departmental efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Shipment Tracking: Monitor the physical movement of shipments, coordinating closely with the wharf team and escalating issues until goods pass through customs to the CFS or port.

• Documentation Management: Obtain carrier and forwarding details to prepare final shipping documents. Update customer-specific systems and ASNs as required.

• Compliance: Prepare and obtain all necessary statutory certificates to meet the economic and non-economic import requirements of destination countries.

• Financial Support: Raise invoices for completed shipments and assist the Commercial Finance team in following up on outstanding payments.

• Logistics Coordination: Follow up on booking forms with plants, forward final instructions and container load plans to agents, and reconcile service provider invoices for payment.

• Record Keeping: Maintain and file all shipping documents in an organized manner, ensuring compliance with customs laws and customer record-retention policies.

• Stakeholder Communication: Provide customers with timely updates regarding cargo forwarding and final documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field.

• Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in Logistics or Commercial operations.

• Soft Skills: * Highly organized and methodical approach to task management.

  • Strong commitment to teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ability to work effectively within strict timelines and regulatory frameworks.
