The Role

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are seeking a dedicated Assistant – Learning & Development to assist in facilitating training interventions and sustaining strategies that build employee capabilities. You will play a key role in ensuring our workforce is equipped to meet both current and future organizational requirements through structured growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Needs Analysis: Identify, analyze, and document training needs across the division in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Program Coordination: Organize and coordinate skill development programs, divisional inductions, internships, and familiarization initiatives.

  • Initiative Support: Support key T&D initiatives, including Individual Development Plans (IDP), Executive Development Programs (EDP), and Management Development Programs (MDP).

  • Internal Faculty Management: Assist in internal training faculty activities and follow up on the development of the “second layer” of internal trainers.

  • Evaluation & Tracking: Regularly track and analyze skill achievement through pre- and post-evaluations and knowledge-sharing sessions.

  • Documentation & Finance: Maintain systematic T&D records and documentation while coordinating with the Finance team regarding payments for training programs.

  • Internship Management: Support the end-to-end internship process, managing evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and certifications to ensure a seamless learning experience.

  • Digital Transformation: Assist in driving the digital training roadmap in collaboration with the central Digital team, coordinating rewards for digital initiatives to foster a tech-driven culture.


Knowledge and Skills

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Currently following or completed a Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management (HRM) or Human Resources Development (HRD).

  • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant work experience specifically handling Training & Development activities.

Core Competencies:

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels.

  • IT Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office and an aptitude for digital learning platforms.

  • Organizational Skills: High level of accuracy in documentation and a systematic approach to task management.

  • Proactive Mindset: Ability to drive initiatives and follow up consistently on development goals.
