Job Purpose

The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing data-driven use cases and providing actionable intelligence through advanced analytics tools and methodologies. This role is central to the organization’s digitization goals, empowering strategic and tactical decision-making by acquiring, transforming, and modeling complex data into clear business value.

The Job

• Solution Development: Implement data-driven solutions and predictive models that directly support core business objectives.

• Exploratory Data Analysis: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify underlying trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various business units to translate functional requirements into robust technical data models.

• Machine Learning & Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable machine learning models, ensuring they remain performant in a production environment.

• Data Preparation: Lead data preprocessing efforts, including advanced cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering to ensure high-quality model inputs.

• Insight Delivery: Communicate complex findings to stakeholders through intuitive reports, interactive dashboards, and strategic presentations.

• Technical Innovation: Stay at the forefront of the industry by researching and adopting the latest trends and technologies in data science and big data analytics.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field.

• Experience: Proven professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a high-level analytical role.

Technical Competencies:

• Statistical Mastery: Strong knowledge of statistical methods and deep familiarity with machine learning algorithms.

• Programming: Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.

• Visualization: Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

• Big Data Stack: Familiarity with big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark.

Core Skills:

• Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

• Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical complexity and business strategy, conveying insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
