The Role
Embark on a journey of change with MAS by joining the MAS Intimates team as a Merchandiser – Development! We are on the lookout for a dedicated, diligent individual to accurately follow through on all activities from the receipt of the initial design concept through style development and the bulk tech pack handover. In this role, you will build strong relationships and credibility with internal and external parties to ensure a smooth flow of operations and support the account in achieving its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Development & Commercialization: Collaborate with Senior Executives to manage development and commercialization processes accurately, ensuring all customer expectations are met on time.

T&A and Material Tracking: Implement Time & Action (T&A) calendars, ensure on-time raw material delivery, and monitor PO quantities, ratios, and cut dates. Proactively communicate delays and recommend solutions regarding pricing, MOQ, and MCQ.

Calendar & Project Management: Manage customer development calendars and drive new development projects to foster business growth while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

System & Financial Accuracy: Complete costing, Bill of Materials (BOM), PLM, and Salesforce updates in a timely manner to meet internal financial goals.

Sourcing & Procurement: Procure raw materials according to BOM requirements, track progress, manage fabric/trim shortages, and follow up on vendor payments and engagement.

Risk & Sample Management: Conduct comprehensive risk analyses with customers and suppliers. Coordinate sample development, resolve technical queries, and ensure prototypes and color samples are completed on time across all sampling stages.

Vendor Coordination: Lead communications with suppliers regarding raw material availability, lead times, costing, and bulk delivery timelines to support fabric sourcing and product launches.

Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to Lean initiatives and Kaizen activities to support overall departmental strategies.
Knowledge and Skills

Education: Degree or professional management qualification in a relevant field (Fully Qualified).

Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in apparel merchandising; prior experience in bulk order execution is highly advantageous.

Technical Systems: Proficiency with SAP, PLM, and advanced Excel systems.

Core Competencies: Strong background in mathematics, exceptional planning, and organizational abilities with a sharp focus on detail and precision.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build strong partner relationships.
