Key Purpose of the Job

The Pattern Technologist leads a team of pattern makers and is responsible for creating patterns from the initial development phase, preparing accurate size charts, and executing pattern grading for bulk production. All workflows must be completed in strict accordance with customer specifications, technical guidelines, and the established Time and Action (T&A) plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Pattern Development: Thoroughly understand customer technical specifications and develop precise apparel patterns in strict alignment with the T&A plan.

• Technical Support: Collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders to provide pattern-related technical inputs and ensure the successful achievement of functional KPIs.

• Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and supervise the day-to-day work of the on-site Pattern Makers.

• Grading & Specifications: Oversee size chart preparation and fit accuracy from development sample through to final bulk production.

Education and Experience (Requirements)

• Education: A professional Diploma in Clothing Technology paired with a certified qualification in Pattern Making.

• Experience: 1–3 plus years of practical, hands-on experience in apparel pattern making within a commercial manufacturing environment.
