Key Purpose of the Job

The Graduate Trainee – Finance will report directly to the Finance Manager of Brandix Apparel Solutions Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the achievement of financial KPIs, ensuring a sound control environment to safeguard company assets, maintaining the integrity of financial statements, and providing data-driven financial input for business decisions and proposals. You will also be required to partner effectively with Cross-Functional Teams, the BU Accountant, and the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Inventory: Assist in the preparation of annual corporate budgets and closely monitor factory inventory levels.

• Reporting: Ensure the absolute accuracy and timely completion of management and statutory financial reports.

• Compliance & Deadlines: Strictly adhere to all internal and external reporting deadlines while ensuring assets remain fully safeguarded.

• Internal Controls: Ensure all outgoing payments comply with group financial policies, establishing and maintaining a strong internal control process.

• Daily Operations: Support and contribute to the smooth, efficient day-to-day functioning of the Finance division.

Education & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, or a passed finalist of CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, or CIMA.

• Experience: A minimum of 6 months of internship or work experience in the apparel industry will be considered a distinct advantage.

• Technical Skills: Sound foundational knowledge in Financial Accounting, data compilation, and financial analytics.

• Interpersonal Skills: A strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
