Key Purpose of the Job

As the Executive – Industrial Engineering, you will operate as a Front-End Industrial Engineer, executing vital IE activities during the initial product development phase. Key responsibilities include performing accurate costing calculations, alongside preparing and maintaining critical records and technical documentation. Additionally, you will prepare General Sewing Data (GSD) breakdowns for a seamless handover to plant production teams, supporting the company’s operational plans and helping drive Brandix values across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Analysis: Participate actively in product development activities to thoroughly understand, deconstruct, and analyze new garment styles.

• Technical Calculations: Responsibly and accurately compute key metrics, including Standard Minute Value (SMV) and thread consumption, across different stages of product development to support garment costing.

• Plant Handover & Coordination: Attend pre-production meetings to ensure the effective communication of technical style details to plant IE teams, collaborating closely with them to achieve targeted production efficiencies.

• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date, structured technical documentation, records, and GSD sequences for all developed styles.

Education and Experience (Requirements)

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Clothing Technology, or a related field, paired with a valid GSD License or proven experience working directly with the GSD system.

• Experience: 1 to 2 plus years of progressive experience in apparel Industrial Engineering.

• Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with developing prototypes using specialized software and external development resources.

  • Functional expertise in mechanical, mechatronics, and pneumatic machinery setups.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical system design and layouts.

  • Strong foundational project management skills with prior exposure to industrial automation initiatives.
