Job Description

The Regional Sales Executive – Northern Province is responsible for driving business growth, managing localized operations, and establishing strong B2B relationships with healthcare institutions throughout the region. This position falls within the Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Communications discipline.

Job Responsibilities

  • Regional Performance: Lead and manage all sales operations within the Northern Province, ensuring the consistent achievement of regional sales targets, gross profit (GP) margins, and overall business growth.

  • Market Expansion: Develop and implement localized sales strategies to expand market share for medical equipment and healthcare solutions across the province.

  • Field Execution: Monitor and support daily field sales activities, including client visits, product demonstrations, and regional promotional initiatives.

  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong, long-term professional relationships with hospital administrators, medical consultants, procurement teams, and other key medical or paramedical stakeholders.

  • Proposals & Tenders: Review client requirements, coordinate effectively with internal technical teams, and submit high-quality proposals, formal tender documents, and quotations.

  • Market Intelligence: Identify emerging business opportunities, track regional competitor activities, and provide actionable market intelligence to support corporate strategic decision-making.

  • Administration & Reporting: Maintain highly accurate records of sales performance, customer interactions, outstanding debtors, and structured follow-ups, while ensuring timely reporting to management.

Candidate Profile

  • Career Ambition: A strong passion to develop a long-term career in Sales and Marketing and grow alongside a leading Business-to-Business (B2B) medical marketing company.

  • Education: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Biology, Physical Science, Marketing, Business Management, or an equivalent professional qualification.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop trusted professional relationships within a knowledge-based, technical industry.

  • Mobility & Flexibility: Clear ability and willingness to travel extensively across the Northern Province, regularly visiting hospitals and medical institutions, with the flexibility to work extended hours when required.

  • Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in medical equipment sales, healthcare solutions, or B2B technical sales.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency and proficiency in the Tamil language are required to effectively serve the region.
