Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Target Management: Secure product orders, ensure on-time delivery, and consistently meet established sales targets and gross profit (GP) margins.

  • Market Assessment: Conduct routine visits to hospitals and medical centers to analyze and study their specific equipment requirements.

  • Proposal Development: Gather direct technical feedback from hospital administrators, medical consultants, and other medical or paramedical staff to draft and submit customized medical equipment proposals.

  • Commercial Documentation: Compile accurate price quotations and prepare comprehensive commercial proposals.

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with existing clients, medical professionals, and key business partners.

  • Product Promotion: Carry out targeted promotional activities and marketing campaigns to build product development and increase market penetration.

  • Reporting & Administration: Maintain up-to-date business records of sales volumes, outstanding debtors, and customer satisfaction surveys, following up with clients as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Career Ambition: A strong passion to develop a long-term career in Sales and Marketing and grow alongside a leading Business-to-Business (B2B) medical marketing company.

  • Education: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Radiography, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related scientific field.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships within a highly technical, knowledge-based industry.

  • Mobility & Flexibility: Clear ability and willingness to travel extensively to hospitals and medical centers across various parts of Sri Lanka, as well as the flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.

  • Experience: Prior relevant sales experience in medical devices or radiology is an advantage. However, fresh graduates demonstrating strong potential, drive, and a fast-learning mindset are highly encouraged to apply.
