We are seeking a dedicated Engineer – Research & Development to join our team in Ratmalana. In this role, you will be a catalyst for transformation, developing high-impact technological solutions that align with our organizational objectives and our commitment to the triple bottom line.
Key Responsibilities
Prototyping & Open Innovation

Conceptualization: Assist in developing both virtual and physical prototypes, working internally and with external partners to create innovation briefs that translate into realistic investment opportunities.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify the technological requirements for new projects and growth platforms, developing innovative resolutions to complex technical challenges.
Research & Collaboration

Technology Scouting: Research adoptable technologies and identify potential strategic partners to collaborate with, ensuring optimal productivity and modern development standards.

Stakeholder Management: Maintain consistent communication with the team and partners to present value propositions and ensure timely, objective-driven delivery.
Strategy & Proposal Development

Venture Proposals: Use appropriate analytical tools to identify necessary technology platforms and draft formidable technological venture proposals.

Cross-Functional Synergy: Work collaboratively with multiple internal and external parties to ensure technical solutions are viable and scalable.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:

Academic Background: Graduates or Final Year Undergraduates holding a B.Sc. in Chemical & Process Engineering, Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, or Material Science & Engineering.

Work Experience: 1–3 years of relevant industrial experience.
Skills & Competencies:

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling technical proposals.

Project Management: Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and partners simultaneously.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer relationship management skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Analytical Thinking: A deep understanding of technical variables and the ability to apply research to practical manufacturing solutions.
