The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings is a global leader in design, innovation, and manufacturing solutions for lingerie, swimwear, and performance apparel. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join Linea Aqua in Hanwella. In this role, you will be a driving force for change, ensuring that our operations exceed national and international health, safety, and compliance standards while fulfilling the rigorous requirements of our global customers.
Key Responsibilities
Standards & Adherence

Regulatory Compliance: Maintain and uphold Health & Safety (H&S) and compliance standards in strict accordance with local laws and customer-specific requirements.

Internal Auditing: Conduct comprehensive internal audits and provide regular updates to management on performance and areas for improvement.

Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to streamline the audit process and ensure successful certifications.
Supply Chain & Training

Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontracted facilities to ensure they meet compliance requirements and conduct periodic audits of their operations.

Capacity Building: Design and deliver internal training programs to upgrade H&S and compliance awareness among the workforce.

Cross-Functional Support: Provide technical support to other departmental functions to ensure a holistic approach to organizational safety and ethics.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
-
Academic Background: A Degree in Management or a related field.

Audit Expertise: Proven experience in conducting internal compliance audits within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge & Skills:

Legal Mastery: Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and national regulatory requirements.

International Standards: A solid understanding of international frameworks, including Buyer Codes of Conduct, Social Compliance, and C-TPAT.

Specialized Certifications: Familiarity with industry-specific standards such as WRAP, Better Work, ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).

Environmental Awareness: Knowledge of environmental regulations and modern sustainability frameworks.
