The Role

We are seeking a proactive Executive – Finance to join our team in Pelawatte. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to our customer-facing and support departments. You will be responsible for providing the deep financial analysis and data-driven insights necessary to empower the business to make informed, strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Strategic Support

• Collaboration: Drive performance and collaboration by acting as a strategic business partner for customer interface and support service functions.

• Performance Reporting: Manage the preparation of regular management reports and perform ad hoc financial analysis to support long-term strategic goals.

Financial Analysis & Insights

• Profitability Reporting: Oversee customer profitability reporting, providing detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary to guide commercial decisions.

• Product Analysis: Conduct pre-order and post-order product analysis to evaluate demand patterns and improve planning accuracy.

• Sales Monitoring: Track and forecast sales performance to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.

Oversight & Data Visualization

• Balance Sheet Monitoring: Ensure the accuracy and timely review of key financial positions and movements to maintain a healthy balance sheet.

• Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain visual software tools and dashboards to enhance data representation and streamline financial analysis.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience:

• Academic Background: A Degree in Finance or a related discipline, or professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA.

• Work Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a similar financial or analytical role.

Skills & Competencies:

• Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable financial insights.

• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in financial modeling and the development of data visualization dashboards.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous oversight of financial positions and reporting accuracy.
