Key Purpose of the Job
As an Intern – Design, you will report to the Manager – Design of the SBU. In this role, you will support the Design team throughout the creative process—from initial trend research and concept development to sketching, detailing, and translating ideas into physical samples.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Support & Research

Trend & Concept: Assist in trend research and concept development to help shape seasonal collections.

Technical Sketching: Create precise technical sketches (CADs) using Adobe Illustrator and manage the creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Project Maintenance: Provide dedicated research and administrative support for assigned departmental projects and tasks.
Process & Product Lifecycle

Lifecycle Understanding: Gain hands-on experience in the role design plays within the end-to-end product lifecycle through cross-functional collaboration.

Design Execution: Learn the essential steps of line development, including sketching, detailing, and the translation of designs into prototypes.

Technical Documentation: Master day-to-day design tasks such as creating comprehensive tech packs and line sheets.
Communication & Collaboration

Presentations: Assist in preparing for seasonal presentations and participate in group meetings and creative discussions.

Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure design intent is maintained through production.
Candidate Profile
Education:
-
Currently an Undergraduate or a Recent Graduate in Fashion Design, Clothing Technology, or a related field.
Experience & Skills:

Technical Ability: Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and a passion for technical design.

Collaboration: A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
