The Role

We are seeking a proactive Marketing & Business Development Specialist to drive brand awareness and strategic growth in Colombo. This role is ideal for a creative professional who can seamlessly manage digital and physical marketing campaigns while collaborating with management to shape our long-term product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Branding Campaigns

• Campaign Management: Organize and oversee advertising, communication, and branding initiatives across social media, exhibitions, and promotional events.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor the progress of all campaigns using key metrics and provide detailed performance reports to management.

• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with both in-house and external creative agencies to design high-impact marketing materials, including brochures and digital adverts.

Business Development & Strategy

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the management team to define the product development strategy and future roadmap.

• Idea Evaluation: Identify and prioritize new business ideas based on market demand, technical feasibility, and potential business impact.

• Financial Oversight: Assist management in preparing marketing budgets and maintaining strict monitoring of departmental expenses.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

• Academic Background: Minimum of 03 passes at the GCE A/L examination.

• Experience: At least 01 year of related experience in marketing or business development.

• Language Skills: Good communication skills in both English and Sinhala.

• Technical Skills: Computer literacy with proficiency in the MS Office suite.

Preferred Assets:

• Professional Qualifications: A partial qualification in SLIM or CIM is highly desirable.

• Industry Background: Previous experience in a courier company or last-mile delivery sector will be a distinct advantage.
