About the Role
Dipped Products PLC, a leading member of the Hayleys Group, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join our Head Office in Colombo. As a Junior Executive – Finance, you will play a key role in providing the analytical insights necessary to drive cost efficiency, profitability, and operational excellence within a global manufacturing and export environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting

MI Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate Management Information (MI) reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Costing & Profitability: Analyze product costing and profitability to identify opportunities for cost reduction and margin enhancement.

Customer Insight: Assist in performing customer profitability analysis to support long-term strategic goals.
Operational Controls & Auditing

Month-End Closing: Assist in managing financial closing processes, ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards.

Inventory Control: Participate in annual stock-taking and perform internal process audits to maintain robust operational controls.

Budgetary Control: Monitor budget vs. actual performance, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions to management.
Compliance & Collaboration

Taxation: Follow up on VAT refund processes to ensure timely submissions and accurate recovery.

Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Finance teams to optimize operational performance and refine cost structures.

Forecasting: Support forecasting and budgeting activities across various departments.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree specializing in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.

Professional Qualifications: Full or partial qualification in CA/CIMA is highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience within the manufacturing or export industry.

Systems: Previous exposure to SAP and knowledge of local tax regulations will be considered a distinct advantage.
