DFCC Bank is seeking a highly skilled and dependable technical professional to join our Facilities and Building Maintenance team. This role is essential for ensuring the operational continuity, safety, and efficiency of the Bank’s physical infrastructure and critical systems.
The Role
As a Technician or Senior Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance of essential building services. You will act as a frontline technical expert, ensuring that critical systems—such as power, climate control, and security—operate with maximum uptime and adhere to the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Preventive & Corrective Care: Execute scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs on HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS, ELV systems, and plumbing.

Fault Diagnosis: Rapidly identify and rectify mechanical and electrical failures to ensure minimal disruption to bank operations.

Inspections: Conduct routine equipment testing and site inspections to confirm compliance with operational and safety regulations.
Project Support & Documentation

Project Oversight: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and supervise third-party contractors during refurbishments or new projects.

Asset Tracking: Maintain meticulous technical documentation, including maintenance logs, service history, and asset registers.

Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external service providers and vendors, evaluating their technical solutions to ensure high-quality delivery.
Operational Readiness

Emergency Response: Attend to emergency breakdowns and remain available on a shift or on-call basis as required to support 24/7 facility needs.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:

Technical Education: Possession of NVQ Level 4 or above in Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or technical services.
Technical Competencies:

Systems Knowledge: Strong practical expertise in HVAC, electrical distribution, generators, UPS, and ELV systems.

Schematic Literacy: Proven ability to interpret complex technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
