Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Controller is a key role within the Finance department, responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the property’s financial data. You will oversee the auditing of revenue, the security of cash assets, and the meticulous maintenance of financial records. This role ensures that every transaction behind the scenes supports the high standards of service our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Oversight & Auditing

Data Accuracy: Check figures, postings, and documents for precision; record and analyze computerized financial information.

Revenue Reconciliation: Audit and reconcile all revenue postings across the F&B department to ensure alignment with operational reports.

Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and distribute essential statistical, financial, accounting, and auditing reports and tables.

Asset Security: Control and secure cash and cash equivalents in strict accordance with the property’s cash handling policies.
Administration & Compliance

Record Management: Organize and maintain all physical and digital files according to document retention and confidentiality protocols.

Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies, including safety and security procedures; report any unsafe conditions or accidents to management.

Confidentiality: Protect proprietary information and ensure the privacy and security of both guests and coworkers.
Guest Relations & Teamwork

Hospitality Standards: Welcome and acknowledge all guests with genuine appreciation, anticipating their needs and assisting individuals with disabilities.

Professional Communication: Use clear, professional language in all verbal and written interactions; handle telephone inquiries with appropriate etiquette.

Collaboration: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the team to reach collective financial and operational goals.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Experience: While no prior related work or supervisory experience is required, a strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset are essential.

Physical Stamina: Ability to move, lift, or carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
