MAS Holdings is seeking a strategic and creative Senior Merchandiser to join our specialized Development team at MDS Ratmalana. This role acts as the vital link between innovative design concepts and large-scale manufacturing reality. We need a professional who can navigate the complexities of product development, ensuring that aesthetic visions are translated into technically sound, commercially viable garments without compromising on lead times or quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Orchestrate the end-to-end development process from initial tech pack receipt to final sample approval.

• Collaborate with design and technical teams to engineer products that meet customer price points and functional requirements.

• Manage critical path milestones to ensure timely delivery of prototypes and salesman samples for global retail seasons.

• Negotiate material costs and manufacturing fees with suppliers to optimize profit margins.

• Direct the sourcing of innovative fabrics and trims that align with evolving sustainability and performance trends.

Candidate Requirements:

• Extensive experience in apparel merchandising, specifically within product development or R&D.

• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric performance, and costing frameworks.

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage high-pressure deadlines.

• Excellent command of English and advanced negotiation skills.
