Role Purpose
The Manager – Engineering leads the plant’s engineering function, overseeing all machine maintenance and facility initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring machine and spare part availability, managing engineering budgets, and executing improvement projects (such as SMV reduction and cost savings). Additionally, this role drives sustainability and automation initiatives as directed by the Group.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Plan and deploy plant engineering requirements, including objectives, budgets, and specialized improvement projects.

Maintenance Oversight: Ensure the effective implementation of all machine and facility maintenance activities.

Project Management: Lead facility improvement projects and plant-level technical upgrades.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve functional goals.

Team Leadership: Manage and develop the Plant Engineering team to ensure operational excellence.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 6–8+ years in a plant engineering function, with at least 3–4 years of experience leading a team in machine and facility maintenance.

Technical Expertise:

Advanced knowledge of Machine Maintenance and Mechanical Facility Engineering.

Proficiency in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) practices.

Understanding of Digital Transformation, Automation, and advanced technologies.
