The Role
We are looking for an Operational / Store Steward Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the seamless coordination of stewarding and storage operations. You will ensure that our F&B departments are perfectly supported through meticulous inventory control, rigorous hygiene standards, and efficient resource management, all while leading and developing a high-performing back-of-house team.
Job Responsibilities

Workflow Management: Oversee daily stewarding and store operations to ensure an efficient and smooth back-of-house workflow.

Inventory Control: Manage the receiving, storage, and issuing of food, beverage, and operating supplies, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.

Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on incoming deliveries to ensure compliance with hotel safety and brand standards.

Hygiene & Safety: Implement and monitor sanitation and food safety protocols across all stewarding and storage areas.

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule stewarding and store associates, fostering a culture of professional growth.

Asset Management: Ensure the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and the safe handling of chemicals.

Financial Oversight: Control operational costs through proactive inventory planning and effective waste management strategies.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Culinary, Procurement, and Engineering teams to ensure maximum operational effectiveness.

Compliance: Maintain full adherence to workplace safety regulations and internal hotel policies.
Job Requirements
Experience & Education:

Education: Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in stewarding, stores, or operational management, ideally within a high-volume hotel environment.
Core Competencies:

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hygiene, food safety standards (HACCP), and inventory control procedures.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage and motivate large operational teams in a fast-paced environment.

Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Digital Literacy: Computer-literate with experience using inventory or stock management systems.
