The Role
We are seeking a skilled Technician (Executive Level) to oversee and execute the maintenance of our cold chain and climate control systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring our stores remain operational and our products stay fresh by maintaining high-performing refrigeration and air conditioning units.
Key Responsibilities:

Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC equipment. This includes cleaning, lubricating, inspecting components, monitoring refrigerant levels, and testing overall system performance.

Diagnostics & Repair: Accurately diagnose system malfunctions and identify root causes. Implement effective repair solutions, including replacing faulty components, repairing wiring or leaks, and adjusting system settings.

Operational Readiness: Ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition to prevent downtime and maintain food safety standards.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and guidelines. Follow proper safety protocols, utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure all work is conducted to prevent accidents or injuries.
What You Need
Qualifications & Experience:

Education: NVQ Level 4 or an equivalent qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a related technical field.

Experience: Minimum of 01 year of work experience in a related technical role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting complex cooling systems and electrical components.
Core Competencies:

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mobility: A valid driving license for light vehicles is highly advantageous.

Professionalism: A strong sense of accountability and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced retail environment.
