Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), the manufacturer of the iconic Elephant House beverages and ice creams, is a premier consumer food company in Sri Lanka and a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Executive – Sales & Marketing Operations to join our Special Beverages category. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in planning and implementing strategies to ensure market demands are met “on time and in full,” while driving sales performance and brand growth.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Planning & Performance

  • KPI Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on KPI performance to support sales incentive planning.

  • Category Volume Planning: Monitor material plans and manufacturing facility updates to assist the Category Manager in volume forecasting.

  • Supply Chain Coordination: Engage actively with production and supply chain planning teams to ensure seamless product availability.

Marketing & Sales Execution

  • Budget Optimization: Effectively utilize the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget to maximize sales volume and expand market share.

  • Digital Strategy: Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing activities to enhance brand visibility.

  • Competitive Strategy: Monitor market activities closely and provide strategic support to the sales team to mitigate competitor threats.


Candidate Profile

Experience & Education:

  • Academic Background: A Degree in Marketing or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CIM or MBA).

  • Industry Experience: 3–4 years of experience in FMCG Brand Management.

  • Strategic Acumen: Experience in evaluating consumer and market research to formulate brand strategies is a significant advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Market Knowledge: A sound understanding of Sales, Distribution processes, and evolving consumer behaviors within the FMCG sector.

  • Business Intelligence: Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret competitive marketing and selling trends.

  • Analytical & Innovative: A sharp analytical mindset with a focus on innovative problem-solving.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, combined with high attention to detail.
