Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), the manufacturer of the iconic Elephant House beverages and ice creams, is a premier consumer food company in Sri Lanka and a proud subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

We are seeking a results-driven Low-Code Development Specialist to join our team in Colombo on a Fixed-Term Contract basis. In this role, you will be at the heart of our digital transformation, leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to streamline internal processes and enhance organizational agility.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Application Development

  • Microsoft Power Apps: Design and develop custom applications to modernize and simplify internal business processes.

  • Microsoft Power Automate: Build and maintain sophisticated flows, including approval workflows, scheduled automations, and cloud-based triggers.

  • SharePoint Administration: Administer and develop SharePoint Online lists, libraries, and site collections to support document management and automation.

Data & Database Management

  • SQL Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries across MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server for reporting and application backends.

  • Database Support: Perform maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, query optimization, indexing, and ensuring data integrity.

Strategic Support & Documentation

  • Digital Transformation: Actively participate in strategic initiatives aimed at digitizing organizational workflows.

  • Technical Documentation: Prepare process blueprints, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and comprehensive automation workflow logs.

  • Systems Support: Provide general application support for core line-of-business systems, including ERP, SFA, and HRIS.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience:

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-300, or PL-400) are highly advantageous.

  • Cloud Knowledge: Microsoft Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications are a distinct plus.

Technical Competencies:

  • Data Visualization: Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards is an advantage.

  • SQL Mastery: Proficient in query writing, performance tuning, and database maintenance across MySQL and MSSQL.

  • Documentation Skills: Proven ability to translate business needs into technical blueprints and manage multiple automation pipelines simultaneously.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Effective stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly.

  • A proactive, collaborative mindset focused on achieving organizational digital goals.
