Key purpose of the Job

The Merchandiser – Procurement manages raw material optimization and sourcing from enquiry to PO for assigned categories/accounts, oversees the full PO-to-pay process, and ensures compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage RM procurement, including pre-order confirmation, PO release, and follow-up
  • Achieve inventory and cost targets through optimal ordering and cost control
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on sourcing and procurement goals
  • Ensure timely RM delivery to prevent production delays
  • Conduct weekly status calls with suppliers

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Textile/Clothing Technology or Materials Management or any other relevant stream.

Experience

1 – 3 years of experience in Procurement/Merchandising function​
