Specialist – Group Corporate Planning and Strategy
The Purpose:
Accountable for assisting the formulation of the business strategy, develop the Revenue plans and value drivers to enable the Group’s businesses/Business Units to achieve envisage vision. Coordinate with the business units to formulate any performance improvement plans
The Job :
· Actively contribute to the development of Long Range Plan (LRP) and Business Strategy by evaluating global/industry trends, consumer evolution, and competitive environment to align Dialog group objectives with Axiata group vision.
· Prepare revenue budgets and forecasts for Business Units (BUs) and Market Business Units (MBUs) to support financial budgeting.
· Participate in target setting for BUs and sales teams.
· Play a key role in forming BU initiatives to achieve business objectives.
· Evaluate and recommend investment projects/CAPEX rationalization in line with organizational strategy to ensure value creation for Dialog Group.
· Continuously study business and industry dynamics to identify emerging market opportunities and competitive threats, providing inputs to respective BUs.
· Support group initiatives on growth strategy and operational excellence by engaging in planning, monitoring, and controlling.
· Model business plans/investment appraisals in MS Excel and prepare MS PowerPoint slides with a clear storyline/message for top management.
· Develop business KPIs aligned with corporate objectives, benchmark performance with industry best practices, and ensure process control.
· Create and model organization-wide performance monitoring systems for Business Units and Sales Units.
· Prepare monthly management reports/flash reports to monitor actual performance against targets, providing information/suggestions to senior management for prompt actions.
· Conduct variance analysis against targets to ensure monitoring is linked to corporate objectives, achieving goal congruence.
· Model incentive structures for sales teams and present them to management.
· Assess the feasibility of investments for Investment Committee approvals and furnish all Axiata Corp Center deliverables, including rolling forecasts, EWG/Cost EWG presentations, and ad-hoc requirements from Corp Center.
The Person:
· Degree (Engineering or Business) with First Class (Hons) OR a Management Degree from a reputed University
· 2years experience in the similar scope.
· CIMA Exams Completed (ACMA preferred)
· Proficiency in MS Office package (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
· Good communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
