Management Accounting Manager

Job Description
To provide the Board of Directors and Management of the Company with financial and statistical information regarding the performance of the airline, in order to facilitate operational and strategical decision making in the short-term and long-term operations of the airline.
Job Accountabilities:
- Assist in compiling and publishing the annual Corporate Budget comprising capital and operating in line with the business requirements, effecting revisions when necessary, and establishing a system of financial controls by having a plan against which actual results can be progressively compared.
- Preparation of intercompany transfer figures and SBU monthly P&Ls to support ongoing decisions of the management. Preparing and analyzing financials for board papers in line with business requirements to support ongoing decisions of the management. Preparation of ad-hoc reports required by Commercial or any other external entity to facilitate management information requirements of other departments. / external. Preparation of Fortnightly financial summary report to board.
- Preparation of Rolling forecast P&L and cash flow fortnightly and assist Treasury department with payment plan by closely monitoring and updating forecast cash flow.
- Assist in evaluating financial portion of the bids in order to select most economically advantageous bidder. Attending relevant evaluation committee meetings with respect to decision making and reviewing evaluation reports before presenting to the tender board.
- Assist to compile the Business Plan (BP) of the company in liaison with Consultants, Commercial and Operational Divisions, incorporating forecast growth and strategic plans.
Requirements
Should be a member/passed finalist of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) / Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA UK) / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with a minimum of 3-year executive level experience in relevant discipline.
Note: Trainee and internship experience will not be considered as work experience.
Experience in a similar role would be an added advantage.
The upper age limit should be 40 years as of 15th June 2026 which is the closing date.

Employment will be offered on fixed term contract.
