Key purpose of the Job
The Senior Merchandiser – Procurement manages raw material optimization and sourcing from enquiry to PO for assigned categories/accounts, oversees the full PO-to-pay process, and ensures compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage RM procurement, including pre-order confirmation, PO release, and follow-up
- Achieve inventory and cost targets through optimal ordering and cost control
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on sourcing and procurement goals
- Ensure timely RM delivery to prevent production delays
- Conduct weekly status calls with suppliers
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Textile/Clothing Technology or Materials Management or any other relevant stream.
Experience
2-3 years of experience in the Procurement / Merchandising function.
Prior experience in ERP system handling and data entry is required.
