The Role
We are seeking a data-driven and proactive Intern – Cutting to join our team in Panadura. This role is designed for an individual who is passionate about leveraging data and analytics to optimize manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in transforming raw production data into actionable insights, helping our cutting department maintain its high standards of precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Data Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards to track departmental performance and facilitate real-time decision-making.

Analytical Support: Gather and clean data for deep-dive analytical purposes, identifying trends and areas for operational improvement.

Project Assistance: Engage in day-to-day administrative and technical tasks to support the team’s ongoing strategic projects.

Reporting: Prepare comprehensive presentations and provide timely data support to meet the analytical requirements of the management team.
Knowledge and Skills
Education & Qualifications:

Education: Currently an Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

Industry Knowledge: A basic understanding of garment manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in data visualization tools and MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint).

Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.

Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively within a manufacturing environment.
