The Role

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are seeking a dedicated Executive – Industrial Systems Engineering to drive continuous improvement across production operations. You will engage in rigorous SMV analysis and method engineering to maintain planned efficiencies and maximize productivity across the Kreeda division.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Analysis & SMV Management

  • Method Engineering: Critically analyze samples to prepare operation breakdowns and motion analyses. Use the GSD system to assign Standard Minute Values (SMV) and identify opportunities for operational cost reduction.

  • Manufacturability: Monitor all product developments to ensure they are engineered using the best manufacturable methods to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Work Study: Apply advanced work study techniques and conduct daily cycle time improvements to enhance module potential and manufacturing capacity.

Strategic Planning & Costing

  • Cost Optimization: Produce accurate costing sheets to achieve competitive pricing and provide customers with various cost-effective options that maintain product “newness.”

  • Resource Planning: Provide fabric consumption data at the initial sample stage and prepare machine layouts to ensure accurate allocation of manpower and machinery for optimum output.

  • Capacity Generation: Develop and categorize “chassis” for each development season to support planning in enhancing overall capacity and productivity.

Innovation & Standardization

  • De-skilling & Standardization: Standardize methods and machinery starting from the development stage; de-skill complex operations prior to the bulk stage to ensure a seamless production flow.

  • Attachment Design: Research, design, and develop specialized machine attachments to improve productivity and simplify technical operations.

  • Operational Flow: Provide expert suggestions during development meetings based on manufacturing best practices to facilitate smooth operational activities.


Knowledge and Skills

Education & Experience:

  • Education: A Degree in Textile and Clothing or Physical Science from a recognized university.

  • Experience: 2–3 years of relevant work experience in Industrial Engineering within the apparel industry.

Core Competencies:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GSD (General Sewing Data) and work study methodologies.

  • Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with full fluency in English.

  • IT Literacy: Strong computer literacy, particularly in systems used for costing and production planning.

  • Analytical Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
