Royal Paints Lanka is scouting for a high-potential Trainee Procurement Assistant to join our supply chain division. As a leading manufacturer in the coatings industry, our success relies on the precision and timing of our raw material acquisition. This role is a premier entry point for a methodical individual eager to master the complexities of industrial sourcing and vendor management. We need a fast learner who possesses a sharp eye for detail and the resilience to operate in a high-velocity production environment. You will be mentored by seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on exposure to the entire procurement lifecycle—from requisition to final delivery.
Core Responsibilities:

Assist in the end-to-end processing of purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation for audit purposes.

Liaise with existing suppliers to track shipment statuses and ensure timely delivery of essential manufacturing materials.

Support the evaluation of new vendors by conducting market research and comparing competitive price quotations.

Coordinate with the warehouse and quality assurance teams to verify that incoming goods meet company specifications.

Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems to streamline the accounts payable and reconciliation process.
Professional Profile:

Educational background in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.

Strong numerical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking.

Excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala to facilitate smooth vendor interactions.
