The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager / Manager, Human Resources to serve as a key business partner for our Resort and Attraction. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and smooth onboarding to driving high-impact engagement initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to both team members and management, ensuring our HR operations remain agile, compliant, and culturally vibrant.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering & Talent Management

  • Business Partnering: Provide strategic HR support for the Resort and associated Attractions, aligning people strategies with business objectives.

  • Talent Acquisition: Manage full-cycle recruitment and selection processes, ensuring a seamless and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires.

  • Coaching & Relations: Provide expert guidance to managers and team members on performance management, professional development, and employee relations.

Operations & Compliance

  • Payroll Oversight: Liaise with our outsourced payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing.

  • Policy Governance: Ensure all HR policies are current and strictly compliant with local Singapore employment legislation.

  • Data Integrity: Oversee HR reporting and analytics, ensuring the highest level of accuracy within the HRIS.

Culture & Engagement

  • Advocacy: Champion a positive workplace culture and spearhead engagement initiatives that resonate with a diverse workforce.

  • Employee Experience: Design and promote activities that foster high levels of employee morale and retention.


Candidate Profile

Experience & Technical Knowledge:

  • Professional Background: Proven experience in HR operations and a strong track record as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

  • Administrative Expertise: Experience managing functions for a varied workforce, including full-time employees, casual staff, and contractors.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Singapore Labour Laws and local employment practices.

  • Payroll Savvy: Familiarity with payroll procedures and experience working with third-party outsourced vendors.

Core Competencies:

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.

  • Independence: A self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities and driving initiatives from conception to completion.

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to leverage HRIS data and analytics to inform decision-making.
