The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be essential to the heart of our kitchen operations, ensuring that every plate served meets the high standards of quality and hygiene that define the Shangri-La brand. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to deliver memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food quality consistently meets or exceeds our high-standard benchmarks.

  • Hygiene & Standards: Maintain all food preparation processes in strict alignment with Shangri-La’s service and hygiene protocols.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to and enforce all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and policies.

  • Operational Accuracy: Monitor reservations and event orders to ensure accurate food preparation quantities.

  • Timely Setup: Coordinate and execute the timely setup of stations according to specific event orders or daily reservations.


Candidate Profile

Experience & Skills:

  • Passion for Culinary: A genuine love for cooking and a drive for culinary excellence.

  • Background: Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.

  • Curiosity: A desire to learn and a keen interest in staying updated on new culinary trends.

  • Communication: Enjoys interacting with people and thrives as part of a multicultural team.
