The Role

We are looking for a creative and leadership-oriented Sous Chef (Italian Cuisine) to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our Italian dining experience, ensuring that every dish reflects authentic flavors and high-caliber presentation. You will lead a dedicated team, manage high-volume kitchen operations, and engage with our global guests to ensure an unparalleled dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Leadership & Quality Control

  • Team Supervision: Lead and mentor the culinary team to deliver high-quality Italian cuisine that adheres to strict food preparation, service, and hygiene standards.

  • Production Management: Oversee food production processes to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of all dishes within the Italian outlet.

  • Collaboration: Partner with the Executive Sous Chef to support daily operations and implement strategic culinary initiatives across the resort.

Menu Innovation & Guest Engagement

  • Menu Development: Innovate and develop specialized Italian menus that cater to a diverse international and domestic palate, enhancing guest satisfaction.

  • Guest Relations: Communicate effectively with guests to gather feedback and engage in tableside interactions, fostering positive and memorable dining experiences.

Operational & Financial Excellence

  • Profitability: Maximize outlet profitability by diligently controlling food costs, minimizing waste, and optimizing kitchen workflows.

  • Standards Compliance: Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment, ensuring all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies are followed.


Candidate Profile

Experience & Skills:

  • Specialized Background: Proven experience in specialized Italian cuisine, preferably within a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel environment.

  • Global Perspective: International exposure in Italian culinary arts to meet the high expectations of our global clientele.

  • Innovation: A demonstrated ability to create and innovate menus that align with modern culinary trends and resort standards.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a team and engage with guests.
