Position Summary

As a Banquet Supervisor, you will ensure our events team works cohesively to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will inspect staff grooming and attire, communicate effectively across departments to fulfill guest needs, and handle special banquet arrangements. Responsibilities include setting up banquet venues according to group requirements and company standards, maintaining cleanliness, and documenting relevant information in the department logbook.

You will also assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching team members. We expect all associates to foster positive working relationships, adhere to company safety and security policies, and maintain a highly professional appearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.

• Speak clearly, maintain professional telephone etiquette, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Handle physical demands of the role: stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.

• Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently (and up to 75 pounds with assistance).

• Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps.

• Perform fine motor tasks requiring hand-eye coordination; bend, twist, pull, stoop, and reach overhead or below the knees.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar hospitality role.

• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of experience leading a team.

• License or Certification: None required.
