Keells is searching for a high-precision Demand Planner to join our mission of improving the nation’s quality of life through retail excellence. Fresh produce is the heartbeat of our stores, and we need a logistical strategist who can master the delicate balance between maximum availability and minimum waste. This role is built for an analytical professional who understands that in the world of perishables, timing is everything. You will be the technical pivot point between our commercial teams and distribution centers, ensuring that our shelves remain vibrant while optimizing our supply chain efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

• Orchestrate inventory flow to meet stringent out-of-stock targets through seamless collaboration with Operations and Commercial teams.

• Execute wastage reduction strategies to maintain fresh produce losses below established corporate thresholds.

• Refine forecasting models and supply chain analytics to enhance the precision of order management systems.

• Manage the OCTAVE use case model, leading stakeholder programs to improve predictive accuracy and operational practices.

• Partner with Distribution Centers to streamline receiving processes and eliminate logistical bottlenecks.

• Drive internal supply chain projects from conception to timely delivery to support retail growth.

Professional Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in FMCG or retail supply chain environments, specifically handling perishable goods.

• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office for complex data modeling.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
