The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Executive – HR to manage day-to-day human resources functions at our Dankotuwa facility. Reporting directly to the HR Manager and Plant Manager, you will serve as a vital link between management and employees, ensuring smooth operational flow through effective recruitment, payroll management, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational HR

  • Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the HR Manager and Plant Manager regarding all site-specific HR matters.

  • Recruitment: Organize and execute recruitment camps to fill vacancies promptly, ensuring production and operations remain uninterrupted.

  • Performance Management: Review employee appraisals and facilitate meaningful discussions regarding career progression and development plans.

Payroll & Reporting

  • Compensation: Ensure the timely and accurate payment of salaries for staff and wages for manual workers.

  • HRIS Management: Utilize HRIS systems to prepare wages and maintain employee records.

  • Data Analytics: Generate and analyze HR metrics to produce comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for management.

Compliance & Culture

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive, open, and transparent work environment where employees feel empowered to voice concerns.

  • Labor Law: Maintain an in-depth understanding of, and strict adherence to, all relevant Sri Lankan labor laws and statutory requirements.

  • Leadership: Motivate, educate, and connect department managers and employees on all HR-related policies and initiatives.


Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or a relevant qualification from a recognized university/institute.

  • Academic Background: Minimum of 2 Credit passes in English and Mathematics at the GCE O/L examination and 2 passes at the GCE A/L examination.

  • Experience: At least two years of working experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical: Sound knowledge of the MS Office package and hands-on experience with HRIS systems.

  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Leadership: A proven leader capable of motivating a diverse workforce and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
