Banking Assistant – Pinnacle Centre

DFCC Bank is seeking a professional, client-focused individual to join our Pinnacle Centre, which is dedicated to serving our premier high-net-worth (HNW) clientele. This role requires a blend of operational precision, financial acumen, and exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain the high standards of service expected by our most valued customers.
The Role
As a Banking Assistant at the Pinnacle Centre, you will be the face of premium banking. You will manage a diverse range of financial transactions and account operations while building strong, lasting relationships with HNW clients. Your goal is to make every banking interaction seamless, accurate, and professional.
Key Responsibilities
Premium Customer Service

Relationship Management: Provide friendly, approachable, and professional service, responding to inquiries with speed and courtesy.

Transaction Support: Process customer requests with high accuracy, managing cash counting, deposit slips, cheques, and drafts while ensuring all totals are balanced perfectly.

Advisory & Sales: Actively canvass new business and cross-sell the Bank’s suite of products and services to existing customers to enhance their financial portfolio.
Account Operations & Compliance

Lifecycle Management: Manage account openings, fixed deposit (FD) placements, renewals, and closures in strict accordance with bank guidelines.

Transactional Integrity: Execute fund transfers (including CEFT) and other service instructions promptly while adhering to internal policies and regulatory circulars.

Documentation: Prepare essential documents such as balance confirmations, WHT certificates, account statements, and renewal notices in compliance with all rules and regulations.
Internal Support & Coordination

Branch Synergy: Support branch personnel in tracking and managing customer accounts to foster productive internal relationships and improve overall service outcomes.

Efficiency: Handle multiple diverse activities simultaneously, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately within a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Knowledge:

Banking Expertise: Minimum of three years of experience in the banking sector, specifically with exposure to handling high-net-worth clients.

Financial Literacy: Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively interpret and evaluate financial statements.

Regulatory Awareness: Sound knowledge of economic, regulatory, and financial implications specific to the banking sector.
