Job Purpose
The Assistant Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with Corporate clients and supporting Relationship Managers (RMs) in optimizing and growing business portfolios.
Principal Accountabilities
Credit Analysis & Administration

Proposal Management: Efficiently process credit renewals and new proposals. Handle excess and isolated requests for existing customers with high professionalism and minimal RM intervention.

Portfolio Monitoring: Ensure accurate credit administration by completing annual reviews on time and consistently monitoring financials, covenants, and other risk parameters.

Risk Evaluation: Analyze customer-provided data—including project reports, feasibility studies, balance sheets, and cash flows—to structure credit lines that effectively balance risk and reward.

Asset Quality: Monitor “Early Warning Signs” of account deterioration to maintain high asset quality and comply with internal audit guidelines.
Client Relationship & Service

Liaison: Serve as a reliable point of contact for customers’ day-to-day banking needs and manage security documentation requirements professionally.

Service Excellence: Address customer queries with appropriate solutions to enhance satisfaction levels and conduct site visits when required by business needs.

Communication: Maintain professional internal and external communication to ensure all tasks are completed within designated turnaround times (TAT).

Deal Oversight: Monitor the progress of commercial deals and ensure rapid action in the event of any adverse developments.
Service and Quality Standards

Deliver high-quality credit proposals and professional communication aligned with bank policies.

Demonstrate strong autonomy and the ability to work independently of the Relationship Manager.

Meet or exceed defined TATs for customer requests and queries.
Requirements
Education & Experience
-
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Management.

Experience: 3–4 years of experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking.

Specialization: Proven background as a Credit Analyst or Relationship Officer with specific exposure to the UAE Corporate Banking market.
