Responsibilities
The Digital Product Owner holds end-to-end accountability across the Agile Product Lifecycle. You will be responsible for the strategic delivery of digital products and services tailored to our Wholesale Banking clients.
Product Strategy & Value Creation

Roadmap Management: Define and maintain a clear, actionable product roadmap that aligns with the bank’s strategic objectives and business growth.

ROI Focus: Assess product value and develop business cases to prioritize epics and stories that maximize ROI while delivering an optimum client experience.
Requirement & Backlog Management

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with clients and internal teams (IT, Compliance, Operations, and Governance) to gather and prioritize complex requirements.

Grooming: Actively manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring it reflects current user needs and business priorities.
Development & Design Oversight

Feature Definition: Create concise user stories and acceptance criteria. Visualize the client journey to ensure the development team understands the product scope.

UX & Quality: Collaborate with UX/UI designers and QA teams to uphold the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and quality.

Lifecycle Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the engineering team, providing daily guidance and clarification throughout the development cycle.
Market Analysis & Performance

Innovation: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and stay ahead of fintech trends.

Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor KPIs and perform data analysis to drive continuous product iteration based on user feedback.
Leadership & Communication

Team Management: Lead and mentor business analysts, ensuring effective task assignment and clear communication within the team.

Executive Reporting: Effectively communicate progress and strategy to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
-
Expertise: 8–10 years of experience in Digital Banking, Mobile/Online Banking, or Digital Transformation, specifically within a Financial Services environment.

Wholesale Banking: Proven track record in delivering wholesale solutions, including digital onboarding and ongoing due diligence (KYC/KYB).

Agile Proficiency: Solid understanding of Scrum or Kanban methodologies and experience with tools like Azure DevOps.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the UAE regulatory landscape and compliance standards.
Skills & Competencies

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Change Agent: Ability to engage senior stakeholders to drive organizational change.

Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Vendor Management: Strong ability to manage external partners to ensure the effective delivery of digital systems.
