Position Summary
As an F&B Service Agent for In-Room Dining, you are responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage experiences directly to our guests’ rooms. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to cleanliness, and a passion for professional service. You will handle everything from setting up work areas to ensuring that every piece of china and silverware is pristine before it reaches the guest.
Key Responsibilities
Service Excellence & Operations

Guest Welcome: Greet and acknowledge all guests according to Sheraton’s high standards of hospitality.

Order Preparation: Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Inspect all china, glassware, and silver for cleanliness and presentation prior to use.

Clean-as-you-go: Maintain the cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift and complete daily cleaning checklists.

Closing Duties: Perform essential closing tasks, including storing reusable goods, locking refrigerators and doors, and ensuring all equipment is returned to its proper location.
Communication & Teamwork

Professionalism: Speak with guests and colleagues using clear, professional language and maintain proper telephone etiquette.

Collaboration: Develop positive working relationships with team members to reach common goals and support one another during busy periods.

Quality Standards: Ensure all tasks meet the property’s quality expectations and service standards.
Safety & Compliance

Policies: Adhere to all company safety and security procedures. Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management immediately.

Professional Appearance: Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are always clean, professional, and in line with brand standards.
Physical Requirements

Stand, walk, or sit for an entire work shift.

Move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, including stairs and service ramps.

Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination (e.g., grasping and manipulating objects).
Preferred Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Experience: No prior work experience is required; we are looking for the right attitude and a willingness to learn!

Skills: Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
